Biscuits and Gravy





1 head cauliflower (cut into florets)

½ cup almond milk

salt and pepper taste

1 lb. breakfast sausage




1.    In a large pan, brown sausage on medium heat. While sausage is cooking, boil 4 cups of water and add cauliflower. Boil until fork tender

2.    Drain cauliflower and place into a blender or food processor with almond milk, salt and pepper. Blend until creamy.

3.    Stir cauliflower gravy into sausage pan 

Almond Biscuits




2 ½ cups almond flour or almond meal, plus about ½  cup for dusting the dough

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp baking soda

¼ cup coconut oil (melted)

2 large eggs (room temperature)

1 tablespoon honey




Preheat oven to 350 degrees


1.    In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking soda

2.    In a large bowl, blend together coconut oil, eggs and honey

3.    Stir in the dry ingredients into the wet until dough forms

4.    Roll out dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper to about ¾ inches thick

5.    Cut dough in biscuits with a mason jar lid or a round cookie cutter

6.    Place dough on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until biscuits are browned on the bottom edges.


Serve biscuits with gravy
