Cinnamon Roasted Nuts with a Protein Smoothie
(makes 2 servings, 1 for today 1 for tomorrow!)
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop plant based protein powder
1 tablespoon nut butter
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Blend all ingredients together except the chia seeds, stir in chia seeds and let sit for 15 minutes until the seeds soak up some of the liquid.
Serve with 10 Cinnamon roasted pecans:
Combine 1 cup of pecans with 1 tsp cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees until lightly brown, stir during the cooking process so the nuts don’t burn.
Snack: 20 almonds with 1 piece of fruit
