Grilled Steak and Chicken with Chimichurri sauce and Blistered Tomatoes


Steak and/ or Chicken

Season both sides of meat with salt and pepper






1 bunch parsley

1 bunch cilantro

3/4  cup olive oil

juice from 1 lime

½ an onion

1 clove garlic

¼ cup red wine vinegar

Optional: 1 tsp red pepper flakes



Wash and dry parsley and cilantro, remove the long stems.

Place oil, vinegar, lime juice, onion and garlic in a blender and blend until creamy. Add parsley, cilantro and spices, to the blender and mix until well blended.


Cauliflower mash

1 head cauliflower florets

1 Garlic cloves

¼ cup olive oil



2 tablespoons Ghee


Boil the cauliflower until very soft, drain the excess boiling water and place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.

(if you don’t have a food processor, you can use a blender or hand potato masher)


Blistered tomatoes

½ lb Cherry tomatoes

2 Garlic cloves chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil


In a medium sautee plan heat the olive oil and garlic until garlic starts to brown slightly, add in tomatoes. Cover a with a lid and let simmer on low until the tomato skin begins tosplit open and become soft.
