Turkey Crock Pot Chili


2 lb ground turkey (ground chicken, beef or bison work great too!)
1 medium onion diced
2-3  clove garlic minced
2 bell peppers diced
1 can black beans (no salt added)
1 can red kidney beans
1 can cannellini beans
1 jalapeno diced
2 16 oz cans tomato sauce
1 small can tomato paste
1 cup chicken broth
1  tsp (or more if you like it spicy) chili powder
¾  tsp oregano
¾  tsp cumin

Top with
½ bunch scallions sliced
1 bunch cilantro
avocado slices


In a sautee pan, heat to medium with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add in onions and cook until soft, add turkey and garlic. Cook until turkey is browned.
Transfer turkey and onions to the crockpot and add the rest of the ingredients (Drain all the beans before placing in the crock pot.). Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Top with cilantro, scallions and avocado
